“ A sister restaurant to my other favourite, Mother India! I was pleasantly surprised to discover their Liberty location called Maurya. It’s the same menu and as an added bonus, this location has a patio :) ”

“ Excellent. This is the second Maurya spot I've tried. The chefs seem to cook things a little differently compared to the Etobicoke location, which is okay, it's nice for a chain to serve different interpretations of the same dishes at different locations. As with the Etobicoke location, I tried the mutton biriyani and the butter chicken. Both were good, but I liked the Etobicoke location's interpretations better. This location is much nicer inside and at a prime location in Liberty village. I must say though, that no one beats The Host for Indian food. If the Host is a 10, I'd give this location a 9. I've tried the biriyani, shrimp korma, and the butter chicken here. All were good. ”

“ Food here is absolutely delicious. Portions sizes are pretty big. 3 of us split 2 curries and we're stuffed full. Prices are standard. But considering portions, pretty good. I would come back if I was in the area. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a small place and wasn't busy, everything else nearby had a 1 hour wait. ”

“ The lamb vindaloo roti is really good. The roti is delicious with a nice springy texture and the curry is spicy and sour, with a lot of flavor. Highly recommend! Great thing for lunch. ”

The food was amazing as always — huge portions, especially the rice, and full of flavor. What made the experience even better was Krusti, who was serving us. She greeted us with such a warm and genuine smile, made us feel instantly welcomed, and checked on us throughout to make sure everything was perfect. “ I had the pleasure of dining at this Indian restaurant recently and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The food was simply outstanding and left me wanting more. I ordered the chicken wings, mutton curry, paneer tikka masala and the rumali roti, and I can honestly say that each dish was cooked to perfection. The chicken wings were crispy and succulent, with just the right amount of spice. The mutton curry was so flavorful and tender, it practically melted in my mouth. The paneer tikka masala was creamy and rich, with the perfect blend of spices. And the rumali roti was simply divine - light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. The service at the restaurant was also exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
